Title: Achilles Vs Hector!!!!!

No special effects, and yet the sheer brutality and realism of this fight makes it much better than any super-heroe fight we've ever seen. Even the sound of metal clashing against metal makes this brutal and much better than any computer-generated fight. Achilles is not merely a killer, but a cold-blooded one. It takes a big stomach and a tiny heart to look inside a man's eyes and slay him in front of his loved ones. What a ruthless mofo. You want alpha male? Well, Achilles is the one to end all others.

also i never got why they didnt just let the archers take out Achilles.

Peter O'tool is a tool. Where are the truly great British actors in the tradition of Alec Guiness and Lawrence Olivier?

I think it has somethhing to do with manly courage and honor: a bunch of archers taking out a single man who is not armed with ranged weapons is cowardly and unmanly.

You are missing out. Some of the best fight/war (hand to hand combat) scenes of any movie ever.

Ive glimpsed a few while they play it in the gym
but the concept of hundreds of guys killing themselves for one movie i cant ever get down with so ive never watched

Honey Badger's scene was left on the cutting room floor ... too brutal. Achilles kills Hector and then crosses Honey Badger on his way back to the beach. Honey Badger chews on Achilles' neck and kills the warrior. Honey Badger don't give a shit.
