Japan's goalie is barely 5-7. Why was only 1 shot aimed to a high corner target?

Great job by Japan. But Usa GAVE it away.
1st misstake was the goalie trying to steal some time faking "injury" which resulted in Japan scoring a goal right afterwards. (giving them time to plan etc)
Second misstake was at the end of the overtime when whoever it was missed pretty much the easiest goal opportunity you can get all she had to to was place it, no goalie in the way, no other players extremly close to you, the ball didnt jump or anything she just messed it up. I could have scored that goal.
Congrats to japan though they deserved it!

1st rule of penatly shot is to Never place in in the"Middle height" so the goalie can reach it Easily when jumping to the side etc. Which is Exactly what america did on one of the two shots(?) they managed to get on the goal lol.
They couldnt handle the pressure.
You could tell right before they were starting the pelantys how Relax and HAPPY japan was, laughing with their coaches, and how nervous Usa was. Incredible job from japan. And this brings japan som well needed happyness.

This "match" was lost when Megan Rapinoe was taken out of the game with 6 min left. She had played a brilliant game and was not winded. The girl they put in allowed the japanese to go right down field to set up that last goal.

The game was lost when Amy Rodriguez didn't start. 3 goals in 2 matches vs Japan. they went with a big lineup and got their pockets picked inside the 25. A-Rod is only 5'3"-5'4" and has really good dribbling skills like the little japanese. Keeps possession in traffic vs big ox women like Abby. HC shouldn't have made the change.
