Title: Ronald Reagans thoughts on the Debt Limit
Post by: Straw Man on July 20, 2011, 06:44:18 AM
Reagan knows something about the struggles over the debt limit

Afterall, he needed it to be raised 17 times during the 8 years that he was more than tripling our National Debt

To fight a debt ceiling limit raise is an affront to Reagan.  For shame.

Why would you follow Reagan?  He had a bad spending habit albeit minor compared to Obama.  Seems like Obama would want to pursue a balanced budget amendment and set himself apart from all the former Presidents.  What is so remarkable about running a $1.5 trillion annual deficit with 10% unemployment?  Anybody could do that.
