Title: Check Question for Lawyer... Anyone?

If I get one of those checks in the mail that have a contract on them, the ones you sign to cash and you're also agreeing to sign up for some magazines or some bullshit.

Could I cross out the contract, initial it, and than sign and cash their stupid check?

No, because the 2nd party would also have to initial it but I like the way you think!
