Yeah, but half of his injuries he got while playing for the Green Bay Packers as a lineman and it was during the 50's when they really played pretty rough. Here's the video where they talked about his accident. At the last 2 minutes of it, they give the details as to what happened. He popped a vessel in his neck bench pressing

Post by: funk51 on July 22, 2011, 12:28:52 PM: a few that i heard of, i saved a guy once he was declining in gold's gym, bar was across his neck. i waited till he turned blue than i pulled it off him just in case he was training to absolute failure, which is number 187 of the weider training principles. he thanked me and ran out of the gym probably never to return.
