If I'm interpreting the weights right (1x45 lbs + 3x25 lbs + 1x2.5 lbs) that's 290 lbs which is quite a bit for a skinny fella.

no, i had that same set.

the bar's 20 lbs.
the weights are 25+3x10 lbs = 55 per side = 110+20 = 130 lbs total
