Poker was pretty big, dying now, but poker players are mostly wealthy, which attracts women like flies. Not sure what's ground breaking about this?

I've only just started playing poker again after about five years away from the tables - I play online with 888.com and I'm currently playing through the microstakes but even so I don't expect to do that well.
I don't think the guys in America can play poker online at the moment - some stupid law came into force back in April which meant they closed down at lot of sites and are currently withholding the bankrolls of some people.

I went through a pretty significant poker phase a couple of years ago, too, where I'd spend what seemed like days on end playing online. If my memory serves me correctly, the most I ever had in my bank on FT was about $16K and the most I was ever in the hole was about $9-10K. I don't remember all the details, but I do remember being on a seriously bad bender. Ultimately, I took about $5K out, but lost the $1500 that was left in there because they wouldn't send it. I started curtailing my play when I first heard legitimate rumors about in-house cheating and just a few months later, the story went national.

You ever work/see behind the scenes at a casino you'll probably never gamble again. The house has you by the balls on every single game. the guys making a job from poker would be on wall street making 10x if they could get their thumb out of their ass.
