Gallup Poll shocker: Obama job approval hits new low
July 29, 2011 | 11:18 am 229As the economy sags, unemployment climbs and debt negotiators dawdle, President Obama's job approval rating has fallen to a new low.
A new Gallup Poll, just released, finds the Democrat's job approval rating has dropped to 40% in recent days, one point below his previous low from April and a full 10 points below the job approval he enjoyed as recently as June 7.
Gallup notes his job approval has hovered in the mid-40s for most of the last two months.
"However," the new survey says, "it has stumbled in the past few days, coinciding with intensification of the debt ceiling/budget battle in Washington."
No one is coming out of the negotiation stalemate with a high approval rating. But much of the attention in the media had focused on House Republicans and Speaker John Boehner's ongoing attempts to rein in rebellious "tea party" advocates.
Until now.
Not surprisingly, Gallup found Obama's job approval still low with Republicans, in the 12%-13% area.
But among the crucial independent voters who provided him the decisive margin of victory in 2008, Obama's approval has fallen from 41% to 34%.
Even more surprising is that the Democrat's job approval among Democrats has fallen from 79% to 72%. This confirms a poll earlier this week, showing crumbling within Obama's hard-core liberal African American base. Scroll down to Related items for that link.

At this rate - I dont think obama might even run.
The dems will force him out as the tsunami will be even worse than in 2012 against this circus act.

Obama Approval Rating Crashes to New Low
Posted by Thomas Ferdousi at 1:51 PM
Barack Obama's standing with the public appears to be dwindling during the ongoing debt negotiations. Add to that a sour economy and a public souring the President is less-approved of than just several months ago. After a brief respite after the killing of Osama bin Laden, the President's job performance is not well-received by the people at large.
Case in point is the most recent Gallup tracking poll. Taken over the course of three days, the rolling poll is among the most accurate in the business. According to the poll, the President's ratings have been falling the last several weeks. In a similar Rasmussen poll out today, his performance is rated favorably by 46%.
For Gallup, which usually tallies a higher approval rating for Obama than Rasmussen, this is not the case. The latest three-day average has Obama's rating down-- significantly.
Approve: 40%
Disapprove: 49%
Other/dk: 11%
Obama's approval rating had shrunk in recent weeks. For example, it had been hovering at 42% in Gallup recently. However, now that it has reached 40%, it is the lowest approval rating that Obama has had since elected. It was at 43% before bin Laden was killed May 2.
Now there is word that GDP growth is slowing and the debt issue is still on the table. To make matters more complicated, the July jobs numbers are coming out next week and could damage his ratings further.

And somewhere Wolf Blitzer weeps silently that his cafe au lait boyfriend is being unfoundly treated by partisan media outlets.
Could old Wolf have his lips planted any more firmly on Obama's ass?

I know you are deeply saddened by this, but it is what it is.
He brought this all on himself, every last ounce.
-
he said he's fine with being a 1-term guy if he gets to install his liberal agenda.
seems like he's gotten away with most of it so far.
-
He should never have been elected in the first place.

He should never have been elected in the first place.
coulda shoulda woulda.
mccain should have chosen a credible veep. But that's neither here nor there.

But among the crucial independent voters who provided him the decisive margin of victory in 2008, Obama's approval has fallen from 41% to 34%.
This is one of the main reasons why he is in trouble.
-
He is in trouble because of his radical wrecking ball agenda.

He is in trouble because of his radical wrecking ball agenda.
Added to the fact he's completely incompetent.
Community Organizer my ass. ::)
-
He does not care that he is ignorant and incompetent. He basks in his stupidity.
He is a disgrace, a farce, a liar, a thief, a communist, a walking disease, and is like a bubonic plague over the nation.
Nothing will improve or get better so long as he is in office. Private business is on strike until he leaves.
Four more years of this wmd potus means four more years of depression, four more years of communist polices, four more years of insane policies, etc.
