I was wondering now that I'm on 500mg of Test E a week if my body is now able to utilize more protein per serving?
A lot of studies I've read seem to have a general consensus that 30 grams to 40 grams per meal. I believe those numbers are too general. Shouldn't it depend more on one's Lean Body Mass?
I'm currently 220 lbs and I usually have 25 grams of protein per meal or shake. Now that I'm on Test I was thinking about bouncing it up to 60 grams per meal or shake. That's if the protein is gonna be utilized to build muscle and not just adding to overall calories.
This is my first cycle in 5 years or so. The last time I was on I was running 1 gram of Test E a week and 600 grams of Deca. I was eating about 60 to 80 grams of protein a meal. Which added up to about 2.5 of protein per pound of body weight a day. I felt that my body wasn't utilizing all of it and the rest contributed to some fat gain.
This time I'm trying to keep it lean. What do u guys think is a proper amount of protein per meal or shake for a 220lbs male on 500mg Test E a week?

MORE DRUGS= MORE FOOD INTAKE= MORE SIZE.

Three square meals a day, plus a snack of whatever, whenever, as long as I get 100-150g protein a day.
600mg test e / 300mg deca / 150mg masteron spread over the week. 60 mins total weekly in the gym.
- Better things to do than constantly stuff my face and pump out hundreds of sets...
I am growing like a goddamn weed. 8)

Day 1: DB inclines x 3, BB rows or chins x 3, skullcrushers x 2, EZ curls x 2
Day 2: Squats x 5
Day 3 and sometimes 4 too: Rest
...repeat.
Now and then I'll toss in something completely different, just do delt raises or leg extension/curl supersets or something, but 15 minutes of intense work and I'm out of there. I do spend a minute or two beforehand bouncing up and down and waving my arms about though - it's important to warm up. :)

So 60 minutes of total time in the gym per week?

Yep. Any more would be verging on cardio, of which I disapprove on general principles.

Seriously. I verge on 10 hrs a week and that's with zero cardio.

Your psychic powers amaze me! ;D
If eating ten meals a day and spending half your waking life in the gym works for you then great. I'm growing just fine on my twink doses/diet/training, I'm happy.

I never asked u.I asked the guy who only trains 1 hour per week ;)

Maybe I shoulda explained my self first....working out and training the way you do, there's no need for steroids! What you're trying to accomplish can be obtained by altering you're diet and training routine...you'd get better results if you did it this way

Adding AAS = good progress again. Diet and training were not the limiting factors.
