No bill involving taxes may originate in the Senate. The language of this Committe clearly allows for Senatorial Members to draft revenue legislation. The President cannot draft laws he may only sponsor, or guide legislation through policy.The second round of Commitee Cuts is to be by The presidents directive. Post by: Skip8282 on August 04, 2011, 02:51:39 PM: It'll be interesting if RP sues, but IMO he's not going anywhere. There doesn't seem to be anything unconstitutional about it and there is precedent for this type of committee (which incidentally led to the taxpayer's benefit).
