Strikeforce has cut (so they say, might've just been his contract is up) Fedor from the lineup.
Kinda bad in a business sense cause the guy is still a huge draw fiscally.
Bad move imo. Hopefully the "ufc" will pick him up with a contract but I seriously doubt that. He could be a gatekeeper for the HW division. Actually, I bet the biggest selling fight in history would be a Fedor/Brock match. I'd love to see that.

Id consider myself on Fedor's side. curious tho. how is he a huge draw fiscally?

You're right. No one would buy the PPV fights he's in.

Despite his record, Fedor would now probably be considered the underdog in any future fights - a bit like Randy Couture was before he started winning again - Fedor would be a great draw and would still pull in the money because he has one of the largest fanbases in the world despite his recent defeats and people love an underdog. They would love to see that guy winning again and making a major comeback.

oh, I would beg to differ. There is still a good number of hopeless Fedor nut huggers who will gladly plop down $50 to see Fedor crush more cans. It's the same guys who still watch pro wrestling and think it's real...lol.
