don't know about mile but my fastest 1km was 2:59 at 15yo old weighing around 160 and my fastest 2km was 7:03 with same stats
at 20 i ran 10.6km at 43min and 3360m in a cooper test (12min)...weight was around 190
now, my weight is around 225 and haven't taken a single running step in almost 2 years ;D

5:27 fastest mile
3-miles- 18.09 minutes
26.2 miles timed marathon - 3 hours 37 minutes- timed by tracking device they make you put on you shoe small black clip on times when you run over every mile mat.
fastest half mile my event when I was younger 2:02
all this was when I was younger. I have not ran long distance for years. ill run a few miles but thats it! marathons and triatholons are by far the hardest thing you can do. just a marathon was hell. gives you bragging rights though I give props to anybody who has run a marathon they are not easy.

Dunno about mile, but 1km was something around 5 minutes. I can't run fast for more than 200m. 3 months after started lifting I squatted 100kg at 55kg bodyweight... Fast twitch fibers ftw.

My fastest mile was 6:10 but that was as a 14 year old weighing about 135lbs.
It would probably take me double that now. :-\

6:25 at 210lbs. is very respectable. My best when I was about 16 was 5:15. I'm 52 and I think with a lot of running I can get to 6:00. I'm only 180lbs. Maybe I could do better if I got my weight down but you guys will see that age stops for no one. Maybe it stops shortly for guys doing steroids but when they go off they are worse that before they started.

I haven't run a timed 1 mile since high school, which was a 5:53. In the Marines I did 3 miles in 17:33, a half marathon in 1:36 and a full marathon in 3:55. Earlier this year I did a half marathon in 1:59 with my bro, i'm not as fast as I was but i'm still in shape.

'The Coach' pops in and tells everyone how stupid running is in 3..........2............ ........1............... ......

ive done a 5 min mile back when i was like 170 , and a 1650 3 mile. Couldnt do it now though, unless i started running like crazy again.

I ran 3 miles to the gym back when I thought cardio actually mattered; Got it down to 18 minutes the last few weeks I did it, but I've stopped now. Was around 160 lbs at the time. Gained 50 lbs since then. 8)

How is your 1 mile (5'53) more time then 3 miles( 5'51Per mile)?...............Maybe you are mistaken on the 3 mile, cause my friend does a 3 mile in 17'25, same ball park, but his single mile time is 5'05.
my mile in highschool was 5'45 and i did a 3 mile in 19 min,
recently did a marathon, got spanked of course, at over 200 less then 6% bodyfat, 4'20min ;D just happy to have completed it, my legs were so sore.

@ 16 years of age & 147lbs i did the Army BFT (1.5 miles) in 7 mins 27 seconds after the 60 seconds of sit ups & pressups. Never tried the mile itself but i think i could have made 4 mins 45 comfortably
-
I was always shit at anything further than 400 metres. However i did run track pretty seriously as a sprinter back in the day and had a pb of 10.87 sec for the 100.

Congrats on your half marathon. It's cool that you got to do it with a family member.
How often do you run and for how long have you done it?
I've been running on my own for about 6 years now. I'm just curious how well you've held up in re: to wear and tear.
I ran in the Army, but just when they told me to, so I don't count that as much. We maybe ran 2-3 times per week (after Basic, of course).
