Title: What is a good counter measure to a job that has you staring at a computer

screen all day?

I swear I take walks, leave the flat, etc...but my eyes just feel like they are popping out of my head.

Anyone stare at screens all day have a good solution for this?

Currently ours is dry... Not sure why.

I also drive down to the beach for a bit on occasion or swing by the game room. Play some old school Super Street Fighter II Turbo Champion Edition.

Always get out for lunch.

Damn fine question. Working on something with your hands rather than eyes usually works I stay in front of a computer all day as well so you got to reverse it manual work such a mowing grass, working on something mechanical, cleaning the house, cooking or sex etc.

I always hated that bullshit. It's one thing if you are getting paid for it but when i had to do stuff like that it was for 7.25 and hour.

agreed, it maybe rough and hard on your body but its pretty mindless for the most part and that in its own right is priceless

Go to the gym.

Alternatively, go hill-walking if you leave near nice scenery - good for cardio too. Failing that, a nice long drive or reading a book usually cures my eye strains.
