Title: If Male BBing=looking more "Masculine" (Muscular), Female BBing=more feminine?
Post by: Parker on August 11, 2011, 01:37:47 PM
Correct? In theory, if men are trying to develop more masculine and muscular attributes, wouldn't it stand to reason that female bbing would equal trying to emphasize more feminine attributes--more curves?

you'd think so, but you have to realize these women have daddy issues and are borderline retarded.

plus they're women, so they'll fuck every concept up, including that of bodybuilding.

In theory that would be great, in practice it's a horrific ignominious fiasco. ;D

Exactly! This is the perfect example of "Female Bodybuilding"! This woman is in the gym to accentuate her femininity, to highlight her feminine attributes.

ill try to snap some pics of this black chick i been talking to lately who goes to my gym. keisha. 30 years old, 5'8'', dark skinn. some of the fattest thighs i ever seen. tight little waist. huge round booty.

i agree feminine looks way better round and soft, but muscle chicks can get the business too.

i'd like to see the face of the first one.

they look like high end gentle girls for carnival, about 4000 reais a week for old fags from europe, esp germany and italy.

Ha, the Zumba classes offered here in the DC have some fine Latina and black chicks, I posted some a while back...it was from northern VA, where there is a ton of Latinos---more from Central American, but a lot of Brasilians.

I think the best for a woman would be to do a little bit of estrogen and basically live in the squat rack for ass and thigh shaping  :P

Inherently bodybuilding competition is a masculine pursuit. All the criteria judged is male-hormone dependant.

I love women who weight train. A (natural) strong lady is HOT. But they need to just forget bodybuilding (the sport).

I think not masculine is the thing really, it's developed body.

so if bodybuilding is development of muscular tissue and the "best" built body, the male should look like a prortional male but bigger. a woman should look like a proportional woman, but bigger. to stop the female from being too big, you'd have to stop the male from being too big too or else they're in difference sports.

your suggestion would work if masculinity and femininity was being judged. but too much curves wouldnt be pretty. would beauty be included in femininity? and then the male bodybuilders would have to be TALL and HAIRY to meet the criteria of most masculine body.

interesting thread. got me thinking.  :)

But see, we are emphasizing masculine attributes---bigger chest, arms, back legs, traps, shoulders...

Women should emphasize feminine attributes-curves, hips, thighs, breasts. The logic should be the same, but the criteria should reflect the respective sex.

yes but you basically said every part of the body for men. what do they not develop that women should develop?

for women you wrote that they should enchance hips, which is bone structure and breasts, which is fat tissue?

your suggestion is on the premise that bodybuilding is judged from masculine or feminine traits. which it is not IMO.

if its judged soley on muscular developement they both should increase muscle size, but in proportion to what they look like of course because theyre fundamentally different. men will have bigger traps, arms and backs. women have bigger legs and smaller shoulder area. but both will be bigger and sadly women will look like shit in this game because of femininity not being a factor in the judging.

but, if it were judged on masculine and feminine traits then yes! women should emphasize other traits than muscle.

Well, what i meant for hips is really ass...so booty and quads, those that have wider hips, are at possbily a better advantage---whereas with men, whose who have smaller hips, accentuate the masculine attributes of a larger chest and arms.

I think bbing should be judged on masculine and feminine attributes...

Allright, I thought it sounded like you asked why women arent developing feminine attributes when men are enchancing their masculine traits. And that is bc it isnt judged that way, but you were formulating your opinion rather that it should be that way. and it could be if you included manly and womanly traits yes.

I somewhat agree as far as males go, because I really like the V-shape type of physiques for men where arms chest and shoulders are "accentuated" for a more masculine look. Where the core mass is in the upper body, as opposed to a womans mass in the hip area.

I don't think todays huge legs look masculine, looks stumpy. Branchs's proportions are off to me. Golden era looked more masculine in that sense. But then we're breaching over to aestethics. A little cloudy.

Perhaps women could train more buttocks, legs than men to a degree to enchance feminine traits as you say. But if theyre judged on their femininity they can't be too big or cut either, and then it starts to sound like a beauty pageant/fitness comp. Hard thing to combine bodybuilding with feminine traits. Easier with men.
