Georgetown had to leave the court during the fourth quarter of its exhibition game against the Baiyi Rockets on Thursday night in Beijing after both benches emptied and a wild brawl erupted between the two teams. None of the Hoyas were seriously injured despite trading punches with the opposing players and having to dodge chairs thrown onto the court and water bottles hurled from the stands.

Actually, that's the beginning of what started the fight. Once they saw that dude hit that guy over a loose ball, Hoyas went and cleaned house. Chinese better watch their backs because those D.C. boys don't play

It is time to apply affirmative action to basketball. How can there be ONLY black players in these teams when they represent 12% of the population. That's a ten fold over representation.

there are plenty of white players on the roster... just that none of them actually get into the games, they let the freshman black kids play over the white senior kids because they fit the NBA standard

Yep. It's all about the money these kids bring in.
A guy I know who was a defensive lineman (didn't start) at U of Miami in the 90s has insane stories about his college days...even aside from pussy being thrown at them. He NEVER went to class...just for exams and they were take home most of the time. He'd have tutors basically do the work for him & the professors just passed all the athletes to avoid trouble.
My girlfriend was an all american at UIC as a volleyball player. She'll be the first person to tell you that athletes don't go to college for the education, just to play ball.

The problem is, you rarely see this in NCAA ball, even in Street ball...
there is a certain understanding, that you play by the rules...fights in basketball are rare---they happen, but when you have an exhibition game, that's like not suppose to happen
