I was finishing up five sets of skull crushers (behind the head) and I couldn't get the last rep up and forced it, tris were burned...and bam! Got hit on the crown of the head! good thing nobody saw it...
I went on to do 5 sets of dips...head hurts, but tris hurt worse, pride intact.
This is the last time I'll try 6 for 5 (six diff exercises for 5 sets).

Me thought for sure there would be a empty beer can involved, no? ???
-
in lying skullcrushers you can literally go from rep 7 feeling alright to rep 8 not going Anywhere lol.

No, sorry. Although, I have seen a drunk dude repeatedly bang his own head on a concrete floor out of dare...he had to have reconstructive surgery, as his face looked like a bloody bulldog's.

Still the best exercise for tri's, ain't it ?

Skull crushers is the only excercise where i really hurt myself in the gym. Not from Parkers mishap but my shoulder just giving in. Afraid to do them now.

How much weight/reps should you do on SC's ?

were you going heavy
Yes very heavy (for me).
All movements where my arms are above shoulder line are risky for my shoulders it seems.

Its mediocre to those of us with unusually long arms. :-\

I really like dips, especially bench dips...you can rep those out forever and have that burn, plus the side head is sticking out like a knot,
I find that skull crushers for me, are best done after a warm up exercise like standing one arm extensions

I saw it. I just didn't want to LOL at you...

How can you not know when you're going fail on a particular rep?

I figured I had one more in me, I had it on the bench, behind my head, pulled up, and in that split sec, bam, I had no energy and I was using a straight curling bar, so there was no space above due to the angle of a EZ Curl. It's not like I had it up, and lowered it...when you do that, you know right then if you can do it or not...the weight drops real quick, but you can control it.
