Last few days I feel run down as shit. Soar throat just achy and really tired. I almost went to the gym today but took one more day off. Do the badasses on getbig work out when they have an illness? How can I make this shit get better quicker up the dose lol? I haven't been sick in such a long time I forgot how bad it sucks. Like a bad hangover almost.

It depends. If I have the flu and im shitting everywhere and puking, then no. If I have a soar throat or a cold, sure I will go to the gym.

I don't know about you, but I usually shit in the toilet, not everywhere. ;D ;D
In all seriousness, I am the same way. I try to never miss a workout unless it's something serious. If it's your common cold ( as I have now ), I just sleep a lot and up the dose ... on Vit. C, that is. ;)

Depends on how bad it feels. Usually, if it's not too bad, I walk over and do a few reps and watch bar speed. If bar path, speed, etc... isn't there, I just let it be.

Couple tips
#1 HIT THE SAUNA ASAP!!! A nice 160 degree dry sauna for 15 min every couple hours will raise your body temp, sort of like an artificial fever. It is very effective, I have done this for years and haven't had a full blown cold or flu since....I was 22 or so???? Probably.
#2 Definitely weight train, but lighter than usual. Weight training stimulates the immune system and rbc production. It also oxygenates your blood. You gotta train, even when you feel like shit.
#3 Up your vitamin/mineral intake considerably.
#4 Get a good dose of sunlight daily. Trust me on this, natural sunlight has restorative properties we are not even totally aware of yet. Mankind has worshipped the sun for all of his existence for a reason!

If I'm just a little sick, nothing too bad then yes I do (and feel better after actually)

it's good to see you guys have so much fun lifting weights and being in the gym. you even go there when you have fever and ache. ::) neither will it be productive for you physique or anything else in life for that matter.

No, it not depends on anything. Rule of thumb is that if you feel sick, you don't go the gym. Why? If you go, you hardy benefit anything from it, but fucking sore muscles. While your system is running high rpm:s because of the fever, you hit on the catabolic state much faster. It is far better to maintain the muscle mass by resting the illness away, than burn yourself out by exercising while ill. If you go to gym while you are sick, you can spread the inflammation to your muscles, and then you have little bit of trouble, because your heart is a muscle. This means that it can be deadly serious, and inflammation in the heart muscle (Myocarditis) is in fact one of the most common reasons when young athlete lost his life. I know the case where 15 years old girl who was a track runner, went to spend evening with his friends while she has little cold, they went jogging about the hour at the evening(I have little fever, it doesn't matter) and she die while sleeping in that same night = Myocarditis. She was a friend of the family, so I know what happen.

Oh no man, you have to shit everywhere. I just go to random rooms and shit on everything. :D :D
And yeah, I usually head to the gym if its a common cold. Something like strep throat or the flu, fuck that, I'm staying in bed.
