Title: What do you guys think of Intermitting fasting diet?
Post by: JZMB on August 28, 2011, 07:39:19 AM
Do you think thats bullshit or really works? I'm on this stuff for like a week, and now 7 pounds lighter, most part of water I believe, but I feel much smaller, also lost like 0,5-0,6 inch on arms, the truth is that I'm almost giving up that shit  :)
But first, I'd like to know whats yours point on it
Peace.

PS: I'm natural

i did something similar where i did 2 shakes and 1 solid meal a day. with the solid meal being where most of my cals came from and before bed so that i wouldnt go to bed starving.

X2 on water loss it works short term but not long term much as the last few days before a bodybuilding contest. Lowering the cals the only answer there are no magic tricks.

I'm running like 2.600 kcal for fat loss

My post-workout meal, the biggest of the day, is compounded by

700 gr white rice
500 gr chicken breast
1 multivitamin

The proponents admit that the major advantage is compliance.
If it makes you stick to a diet better, then it's good. It doesn't do anything a more frequent
meal split would, really.

Great for people who love to binge out at night time. Try to keep your food as clean as possible and eat as much of it as you want at around 8 pm. You'll sleep great and have lots of energy during the day, with the hunger pangs only kicking in around 4-5 pm. Hold off until 8 and then binge out.

Yup. But I noticed that alot of the guys who use it are kinda crazy and try to count every calorie that they eat. I don't understand how people can live like that...ok if you're on a serious diet or if you do it for a while just to get an idea of how much you are eating but it's kinda psychotic to do it day in and day out.

imho, just do a better job of timing carb intake as well as carb manipulation: 2low carb days then a normal carb day 2low then 1 high carb day; repeat. time when you take carbs. breakfast, pre & post workout, none 2hrs before bed.

that's as basic as it gets, I'm not writing you a program so good luck.

Some days I eat LOADS and some days I eat relatively little.

I think it's a good idea to listen to your body. Of course, if you have a heavy session the next day, make sure to eat like a beast. No excuses.
