Saw it today for the first time and thought about getting it but stuck to my regular order of grilled chicken!

I had their "green chili steak + bacon" sandwich today, it was pretty good but kind of expensive for Subway.

I hesitate to eat Subway's "Chicken" "Breasts".  They come from the same fine sources as those wonderful Chicken McNuggets :-X

That's my regular order also, but I thought, "I'll give the oven crisp a try!"  Mistake.

Why was it a mistake?

Crispless, tasteless, soggy, chicken-like mass....hated it.

Try the pulled-pork, not bad at all- excellent BBQ sauce as well... ;)

The breakfast flatbread/subs are off the meter (to me). You can pic egg white---and the Sunrise Melt has egg, bacon, ham, I think turkey, and then you dress that shit up

Why do people even eat a Subway. The mom and pop sub shops that serve Boars Head meats are around everywhere and blow Slumway out of the water.

Plus the cold cuts are fairly edible since the flies haven't congregated yet. By mid afternoon it gets rough.

It's moderately priced and (can be) pretty healthy for a quick meal.

Though if you're getting the meatball or tuna salad and slathering it in double-bacon and ranch or whatever, may as well just get a Big Mac.

boars head is high in sodium, and most of the mom and pop shops subs/sandwiches are high cholesterol, high sodium nightmares...

You but you usually get way more. You can get actually deli style sandwiches for around the same price.

I usually opt for a turkey/swiss/lettuce/russian dressing hero.  8)

I don't know which is worse, high sodium or the stuff they call meat at Subway.

Or you can go to the deli at the grocery store, taste test the meats, pick what you want
and make your own on the cheap.

But, I have to say, Subway's breakfasts kick Mcdonald's to the curb (I'll still get the Mcskillet Burrito)

the only thing better was where I used to work where a former PL used to make huge ass omlets or big as shit pancakes, with home fries, and bacon or sausage, all for 2.99, yes 2.99.

No one can beat that.

On average, people consume more calories at Subway than they do at McDonalds.  People think that if they put fuckin' lettuce on their wheat bread that it'll somehow magically cancel out the mayo, oil, and liter-cola they just knocked back with a chocolate cookie for desert.  Like the assholes who order diet soda with their double cheese, double pepperoni pizzas  ::)

If you're lazy, Boars Head is the way to go.  I like to purchase an entire high quality chicken or turkey and throw it in my smoker for about 8 hours.  Then, I got awesome, delicious meat for at least a week.

Subway grilled chicken breasts are one of the few fast food items that actually disgusts me.  I sort of stopped going there because of these meat items.
