;D ;D ;D ;D
I don't know what happened there but Nasser was a pretty strong dude
-
its actually haredr to not lock out and rest at the top of the movement ...
but anyway 42 divided by 2 = 21
phil heath 230lbs
nasser 300lbs (as he keeps ponting out in his vids)
;D ;D ;D ;D 15 reps
-
Garrett Downing is the only one with good form. Phil had shitty form.
-
Some strong half-reps by Philsulina.
He forgot that it was a Bench press comp and not training
and J. Freeman, WTF! I guess we now know why he had such shitty triceps and a flattish chest.
-
Heath and Freeman quarter to half reps.
-
That Freeman guy has an ultra-useless physique. Just saying.
This contest was a joke. It was a MuscleTech production, obviously.
-
nassers reps were very slow and controled
-
Heath and Freeman quarter to half reps.
The only thing that was a quarter rep for Freeman was the neg portion.
-
note to all saying not locking out is easy.... try using your two rep max and not locking out
...
15 reps with 225 at a bench competition a 300lb man
pitiful IMO
-
We get it. Nasser isn't black with superior neega genetics.
-
A lot of shitty reps in that video.

could care less if he black or not

-
no video of nasser ??? wonder if nasser did full reps and thats why he didnt make the video, didnt want to upstage the rest of hte competiton... sorry but that was not 46 reps, half reps 1/3 the count
-
could care less if he black or not
dont project
Is it really so that 15 slow full reps is much more pathetic compared to 30 fast bouncy half reps? No. And since when people care about weight when it comes to strong lifts, that is for the pound for pound twig crowd. No-one gives a shit what Ronnie weighted when he pulled 800 pounds, 250, 300, 350. No shit is given.
-
ronnie weighed 270+
i made mention to nasser because he always weighs himself in his retirement videos..."come look here see 317"
hahahahah

Yeah I think he does that because he is a bodybuilder.

hi nasser aka gh15
;)

*yawn* this has already been discussed, yet Mesomorph needs to create another "Nasser thread" due to him always thinking about Nasser.
Nasser did not want to do the "contest" but was told he has to as a Weider athlete. The "contest" was basically a Weider + Muscletech marketing attempt with "athletes" of both sides taking part.
Out of annoyance/defiance he did 15 reps. Initially he said to himself he would stop at 10 then went on to 15 instead.

Iv'e created ONE thread regarding nasser.... get your facts right
and yet big bobs HAS to appear on every thread with nasser...
and... im sure nasser can speak for himself.... on this defiance he sure showed wieder ::)
-
He said it in the VPX Shotgun Big Show, actually. He didn't want to do it, because it was pointless and he didn't want to tear something. Smart move, as one fella actually tore his chest up.

I have to agree, IMO mesomorphs thinks gh15 is Nasser so thats why he makes these types of thread. They don't like each other lol.

To be honest, I don't remember how many thread have you started but you seem to bring nasser to the subjects kinda often, maybe I'm wrong but IDK, anyway, as you said, it's not that serious lol.

No you're not wrong. You actually made a very good observation, props, lol. Sure this may be the first time he started a thread with "Nasser" in the title but whenver Nasser is being discussed he always jumps in, and other times brings his name up when he's not being discussed at all.
In this case he was browsing and saw a Phil Heath video then all of a sudden thought "Nasser! How does this relate to Nasser?" and voila - a Nasser thread he creates. If that's not Nasser living in his head I dont know what is. ;D

I've made 1 thread about Nasser
I've commented on Nasser negative and positive you only see the positive because
You have man love for Nasser .....
Seek help and if the thread offends you that much ...
A. Get off the thread
Or
B. Have a cry into your pillow (nassers chest) tonight see if that helps.
-
It's not a fair comparison if they are not using the same range of motion.
-
note to all saying not locking out is easy.... try using your two rep max and not locking out
...
15 reps with 225 at a bench competition a 300lb man
pitiful IMO
How do you know he even went to failure ???
I would say a 'modest' 15 reps is correct
-

bro if you scroll down your post's history you will find 12 pics of nasser for everyone you have of someone else. no disrespect but this is obsession. No exgeration either check for yourself.
AnywaY I like Nasser, definatley one of the greats, but he was part of a team and he knew it was competition, 15 reps when he is capable of smashing close to 50?......WAY TO LET DOWN THE TEAM, WTF
-
one rep by the wizard = 10 reps by someone like heath.. hope this helps :-X ;D
-
:o
-
Nasser has a big head. you should see it leave dents in the wall when i throw him down a flight of stairs :D ;D

In medieval times they would use Nassers head as a battering ram....but too many guys got shot by arrows because his back offered little protection :P

Reality, if phil used identical form, he would have gotton 27-29, fact.
-

i have a friend who did 90 kg for 50 good reps in front of my eyes!!.. he was taking drugs but sure not as these guys!!..
-

But Meso says its easier so wouldn't Phil get like 70reps in Meso's world?
-

Not bad, I can do 30 nasser reps right now and 50 Phil reps, swear 8)
But Meso says its easier so wouldn't Phil get like 70reps in Meso's world?
LMAO ;D
-
it is clearly obvious that Nasser completely owns the feeble mind of mesomorph 78 :)
competitive BB is not about how much the BB lifts or how many reps, its how you look on stage.
If Nasser wanted to he could have easily done 30 plus reps in the same strict style but Nasser chose to stop @ 15.
Mesomorph 78 thinks he is such a strong gym warrior- please, dont take yourself so seriously :)
-
At the beginning of the video; the commentator says that the contest is styled like the "NFL combine" bench
press testing. That means partial reps count.
-

Yeah it may be a tad easier because its quicker during light weights but much harder for heavy weights where that rest at the top is crucial. 2 to 4 rep max using this method is very hard to do/to even make your body do this without pausing at the top.

whatever happened to Jeremy Freeman?......eversince he got his Pro Card, he dissapeared. as for his Physique, well, we all know some tall guys have it harder. his triceps were never his strong point. I guess his genetics speak for itself there. it's so rare to see those 6'4 or taller guys having longevity in Pro bodybuilding nowadays, Toney, and Wolf have been holding it well

He dropped off the face of the planet...I didn't know he was 6'4, the only 6'4 guy thar I know that was remotely competitive was Roland Kickinger, who should have played Conan. And that black dude who was a CO. Joel Stubbs is tall as well...
-
nassers reps were very slow and controled
Nasser was stupid
-
Heath was in a hurry to finish as he needed glucose quickly or would go hypoglycemic hence the half reps
