Nice try, but Reagan tripled the national deficit during his presidency AND raised taxes.

Go look at the Reagan record vs Obama after 3 years.   Obama is going down like mondale

Not really.

Look at the context of the tax hike and what the Democrats promised in spending cuts that never happened.

Look at the tax cuts during his presidency.

Look at Debt to GDP rates, debt to assets etc.

Not as cut and dry as you paint it, although I figure you knew that already.
