I get really bad heartburn when lifting weights...Usually during heavy excercise i.e squats deads bench. It really sucks, after a set, I have to run to the bathroom and puke :-\ :-\
What should I do? Any otc meds that WORK? :-X

Pepcid......Prilosec.... .etc....
Make sure you take something each day.....you will feel better in the long run.

Have your doctor prescribe Omeprazole. It is just like Prilosec but it is much cheaper to buy via a perscription. Sounds more like reflux to me if it is making you vomit.

don't eat so much and close before your back and leg workouts...
eat 2 hours before and you'll definately be fine..
