I have never "seen" the camera mounted like that before. Makes everything 100x better then what a normal mounted camera does like we usually see in Mc vids. Almost looks like a damn simulator.
I dont understand how its mounted to always stay horizontal
-
that's awesome but good god how scary..
-
What it usually looks like:
obviously mounted on the frame as it leans with the bike... Dont understand the other. a camera which freefloats inside another camera? probably some random simple solution
-
Possibly a helmet cam or a chest cam.

at 3:10 you can see a little bit of the helmet so thats not it. a chest camera wouldn't stay horizontal like that in corners/leaning a lot?

The title says it. The camera is on a gyro.

lol. good point. I would like to see how it looks like Locking on it.
VIdeo is fucking Awesome. And this should be the standard

Tim Rothig = Bridgestone tire tester and Kenny Roberts Sr. = The King
7:50 on a bike is flying - The Ring record for a car is 6:48 IIRC. Note the pylon on the course at the 3:38 mark.
Most club racers use the $300 GoPro and it turns out excellent race videos

Not "quite" the quality of MotoGP gyro cams yet though.
Impressive video nonetheless.

yes gopro is good. And had become the norm. But they're mounted.. It looks good but this looks AMAZING. :)

apparently the effect can be duplicated without gyro mount also if you have the time
I dont know EVERYONE doesn't Edit it to be like that.

Runningmom - I've raced anything with two wheels for a long time. In fact I've raced Kenny Roberts Jr. at the Lodi Bowl before he became World Champ.
I still race 2-3 times a year and do as many trackdays as I can. But trust me, I can't hustle a bike around a track like the guy in the video. That's hauling some serious ass on a road course with guard rails. Reminds me of the Isle of Mann TT or Manx GP true road races.
