old school doz 8) ...Alot less insulin than guys are using now. You can just tell hes running a ton of aas and gh, low to no slin.

He has perfectly clear skin in these shots. He has a fair complexion though and the fluorescent gym lights will wash him out bad. Same thing as Dennis Wolf. if these guys were tanned they'd look a lot better.

Surprising how few people realize he had his ears pinned back between 1992 and 1993 Olympias.

Are you sure it wasn't between the 1991 and 1992 Olympias? The first time I noticed his ears looked different was in the b&w pics of him being coached by Mike Mentzer (Flex magazine circa April 1992).

Blood&guts was a joke, I laugh every time I see someone referring to Yates as the most hardcore bodybuilder ever. Because he did one set to failure and beyond? Big deal! Before him there were guys doing countless sets to failure and beyond. Or was it because there was a guy yelling at him, and he filmed his video in black&white? Or possibly the visualization techniques?
Of the current day pro's a Markus Rühl (to name just one) trains at least as hard and heavier as well.

flex, dillet, vince taylor, etc were known for not being hardcore in the gym, yet they developed very impressive physiques
judges dont ask for gym report cards to see how hard you train, they judge on whats on a stage before them in a sparkly thong (no homo)
I've seen matarazzo clips where you wonder wtf, how did he grow training like that? all partial reps of isolation exercises done with poor form, little intensity..

Pretty much. Lol at people getting all indignant about training intensity, the whole sport is facilitated by huge drugs abuse. It doesnt matter how you train, it makes zero difference.

i remember he was hyped as being the next big thing,,, what ever happend to him?
i love how these jokers try and knock dorians work rate... as all they basically do now is play with the weights and rely totaly on slin, gh and seos....
yates was a monk, trained and ate propperly all year round, and if cormier took his offer up to train all yr with him in england it would have showed what a difference consistent hard work can make

Billy is making a comeback in 3 weeks time,competing again at the age of 49,this is how he used to look,and he still moves some good weight.

This....the drugs do EVERYTHING.
I haven't worked out in 10 days, been super busy......and i look and feel exactly the same, don't feel soft, small....anything like i would if i took time off naturally
