Either that or the Steelers forgot how to play Football.  :-\ Ed Reed has owned Big Ben.  :D :D The only exciting thing about this game was the fight.  8)

I was at the game. Probably one of the best games I've ever been to. There was probably about 30% Steelers fans in the stands. Towards the middle of the 3rd quarter, there were Steelers fans getting kicked out left and right. Bunch of sorry ass sore losers. Fucking assholes. I hope Ravens fans don't act that way when they travel to away games.

Anyway.....Suggs continues his dominance of the Steelers once again with 3 sacks and two forced fumbles. Ed Reed grabbed two INT's and Ray Lewis snagged an INT and got a forced fumble. Seven turnovers total by the Steelers. The Ravens O-line flat out DOMINATED the Steeler front line. I think Flacco was sacked only once. And man oh man...Jarrett Johnson laid out DWI king Hines Ward in one of the hardest hits I've ever seen. Palumalo is a little bitch. He's lucky he didn't get his ass handed to him in that fight.

I can happily also say that this is the first time that the Ravens have beaten a Rapelisberger led Steelers team in 5 years. The streak has been broken. But we will end up playing the Steelers two more times before this season is over. Round one goes to the Ravens.

Ed Reed has owned Big Ben.

actually no, this is the first time ed reed has made a play in a steeler game

after playing them twice a year and a few playoff games since 2002, he had to make one sooner or later ::)

Hey listen....I'm not jerking off too much over this win. It's week one. And you're right...it's far from over. I'm thinking the Ravens and Steelers will play two more times this season for sure. But you can't deny that the Ravens got younger and faster this offseason while the Steelers stood pat with the same team with literally no upgrades to their O-line.

But the Steelers play the Seahawks at home next week and what better way to restore their confidence against a shitty opponent.

Did you tell Hines Ward to Use a Taxi the next time?  :D

LOL

I was sitting 25 rows back in the lower level. But when the players come out to warm up you can walk all the way down to the front. I heckle the shit out of opposing NFL players at every game I go to. Yeah...I'm THAT asshole. I don't give a fuck. They mostly just smile back at you. Their multi-millionares playing a GAME. Think they give a shit what anyone says to them in the stands? Most of the time, no unless you shout racial shit. (which I've never done) I do funny heckling, not mean stuff. Told Houshmanzadeh that his dirty pony tail made him look like an ugly kitchen worker.

Not very original but I was yelling at Ward, chanting DWI, DWI, DWI when he was doing his routine. He just kept smiling like he always does. I hate that fucker but I'll take someone like that on my team. The guy you hate playing against but love him as your teammate because he's so versatile as a receiver. Great route runner, crushing blocker(when it's not an illegal crackback)and leader on your team. There's a reason he's still playing at age 35.

willie colon is back after missing all of last season, but now i hear he tore his tricep and might miss another year

the receivers are young, very fast, and more experienced

the defense is exactly the same

It was a huge win over the defending AFC champs. And it was in a dominating way! Pittsburgh just looked out manned, slow, sluggish and they started to fight like bitches when they were getting their asses handed to them. Pittsburgh will be back and learn from this experience, but let's be real here, Baltimore beat the shit out of them.  :-\ I am a Fan of Woodley and Foote, but watching the Steelers give up so much was painful. They will recover though.  8)

Jarret Johnson de-cleated his ass during the game. Hines did a full cartwheel in the air. Funny how I didn't see Hines Ward smile one time during that game. And he's lucky that Bernard Pollard didn't beat the shit out of him when they were in each other's face.

You really need to call the authorities in Atlanta, apparently you have the evidence they lacked to prove Ray Lewis killed anyone. Get over it, turd. It's old news and Ravens fans have heard it all. So has Ray. And yet he still kicks ass in his 16th NFL season. The greatest middle linebacker of all time. Don't be mad because you realize deep down he would wipe the floor with Jack Lambert or Ham.

ray was on trial, he was arrested and shackled like an animal, that makes him far more likely to be guilty of crimes than ben and you know it

Yeah...He's overrated...wow....Holy shit, you're clueless about football. Two-time defensive player of the year, Superbowl champion, Superbowl MVP, 10 time all-pro, 14 time pro bowler. Still playing at age 36 and 16 seasons later at the highest level. Overrated???Are you serious or just plain stupid? He's a special, one of a kind player, Earl. And you know that deep down, just admit it already. Ask Rod Woodson or any present day Steeler if they think Ray is overrated. Ha! What an idiot you are!

And Lambert and Ham played on better teams to get those four rings. Doesn't mean they were better than Ray Lewis as players, because they clearly wern't.

I don't compare Ed to Troy. Ed is a free safety. Anyone who knows anything about football shouldn't be comparing as to who's better because they play different positions.

But overrated? Dude, you're making yourself look REALLY fucking stupid and naive. He's only 25 interceptions away from Paul Krause's NFL record of 81 career picks(which he'll break if he plays two more years). And let's see....he also has 17 career touchdowns and is closing in on the all-time record for INT return yardage. Ed will go down as one of the greatest players of all time and is a first ballot hall of famer after he retires.

It's a good thing that your opinion as a Steelers homer means absolutely DICK. But I'm always happy to set you straight when you post your comments after freebasing.

He's excellent against the run if he's needed to be. He's caused more than his share of fumbles with big hits. Ed can lay the wood if he has to, he's just not as reckless as Troy. And he has more career forced fumbles than Troy. Look it up.

He obviously has more career INT's than Troy but you already know that. He has more touchdowns than Troy.

By 'big game' what are you referring to? Playoffs? December games? Super bowl? He picked off Peyton Manning twice in the 2007 playoffs(which they lost). Ed hasn't been to a superbowl but the entire world saw Troy get used and abused by Aaron Rodgers.

I'll admit that Ed hasn't been as impactful in the playoffs but that doesn't mean he's not better, in my opinion. I'm just looking at the overall skill set but again, they play different positions with different responsibilities. It's a close call. I'm obviously biased because of what side I represent.

if needed to be?

translation "he only makes a tackle if he is the last option" ::)

i remember an int being called back in that colts playoff game

troy had a bad achilles in the super bowl and playoffs, you know that game that ed reed once again failed to help his team reach

14 games to go big boy. Congrats on the Steelers destroying one of the bottom 5 teams in the league. And don't forget that the Steelers play the Titans also. Luckily for you...at Pittsburgh. We'll see how your guys fare against them because let me tell you....Stopping Chris Johnson doesn't mean that you stop the Titans. The Ravens went all in to contain Johnson and they got killed against the pass. Hasselbach is a crafty veteran with a lot of experience. Kenny Britt is a monster. Best of luck to the Steelers cornerbacks defending him.

Best of luck to the Steelers cornerbacks defending him.

yall lost to titans.. another bottom 5 team.

True but you can't deny that Seattle is a worse team than the Titans. The Titans have more talent on offense, that's for sure.

Absolutely, the Steelers made a statement. Anytime you shut an opponent down in the NFL...that's impressive.

Believe me....I was the LAST Ravens fan to tout the Ravens as going to superbowl after their week one win. Regular season wins in September don't mean shit compared to November and December wins.

I'm very nervous about our game against the Rams next Sunday. If the Ravens fall to 1-2 heading into a week four matchup against the Jets, then we're in trouble. :-\
