Title: Huntsman gets to negative one
Post by: Benny B on September 14, 2011, 02:58:13 PM

Huntsman gets to negative one
Jon Huntsman's presidential campaign had been drawing a one -- uno -- in Gallup's intensity tracker. Today, the former Utah governor got a little lower than that. His newly minted negative one is the result of subtracting people who expressed a strongly negative view of him from those who expressed a strongly favorable view.

Subzero or slightly above, Jon Huntsman keeps going.

Huntsman names business advisers
By Shira Schoenberg, Globe Correspondent

Republican presidential candidate Jon Huntsman today announced the members of his business advisory council, a powerful group of businessmen that includes casino magnate and Massachusetts resident Gary Loveman.

The chairman of the council will be John Mack, executive chairman of the board of Morgan Stanley and a board member of the Bloomberg Family Foundation. Other members include Loveman, Phil Knight, and Tom Bell.

“Governor Huntsman is a serious, pragmatic leader who knows how to restore confidence and stability to the marketplace,” Mack said in a statement. “He has a proven track record of creating jobs – both in business and as governor of Utah – and we look forward to working with him to move America forward.”

Loveman, a former Harvard professor who also worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, is CEO and president of Caesars Entertainment Corporation. He is the past chairman of the American Gaming Association, and is a trustee at Children’s Hospital Boston.

Knight is co-founder and chairman of Nike, Inc. Bell is former chairman of the US Chamber of Commerce and former CEO of the real estate company Cousins Properties.

Huntsman has made a pro-business approach a major part of his campaign platform. He recently released a jobs plan, which would restructure the country’s tax code in a way likely to help businesses. He talks frequently about his record as Utah governor when Utah led the country in job creation.

He is very calm, mature, and collected - a very strong statesman.

in a perfect world, he would get the nomination.

He won't because he refuses to sign pledges or agree to brainless absolutes.

The man speaks natuve chinese finance - and his state was #1 in jobs.  He just shot down Romney's economic and perry's job creating experience claims.

But since he doesn't scream about the earth being 6000 years old or ending all social programs, the loudmouth 90 IQers running the FOX ratings dept don't like him.

Republican Bob Turner's upset victory Tuesday in the special election for the heavily-Democratic congressional seat in New York's ninth district is a referendum on President Obama's economic policies and his relations with Isreal.

Obama single-handedly ends eight decades of Democratic reign in the district.

Atta boy Barry.   ::)

Good for him....Obama needs to catch up to him. Regardless, he's still a 1000x's better than Barry.

President Obama continued pushing his jobs bill in battleground states on Wednesday, telling a crowd of students at North Carolina State University that, "If you love me, you've got to help me pass this bill!"

Welcome to the grand delusion.... ;D

This country is in trouble because of the brutal bipartisanship. Never again will we work for the best of the country but rather only disagree with the other side because that is what we think we're supposed to. Quite sad.

Starts at the top....Pelosi, Reid and Obama have fostered and overseen a policy of divisiveness.

America will survive. Consumer confidence will return in 14 months.

Bye Barry.  ;D

"The poverty rate rose for a third straight year as the economy struggles with a stumbling recovery and persistent high joblessness. The number of poor Americans in 2010 was the largest in the 52 years that the goverment has been publishing poverty estimates, according to Reuters."

Obama = FAILED FISCAL POLICY!

Oh bennnnnnnny...

Whining and crying cuz the big bad Republicans are exposing your Messiah as a complete fraud. Only a weak minded Lib would try to place control on the truth about Obama's incompetence.

Benny - two current Federal investigations and the biggest advocate of the job plan is Jimmy Hoffa -  atta boy Barry.
