Ah my bad - yes, you're right, a thousand million is a billion in the UK.

But it's still different in the UK (checked on Google) - a trillion is 1 with 18 zeros after it but in the US it's 1 with 12 zeros after it.

exactly. the goverment is making money that doesn't exist and borrowing to make it. the us dollar will eventually become worthless

actually the goverment could probably be cut down to half. the goverment IS needed no doubt but they are spending amounts of money that don;t really exist
