2003 MBA courses... I recall nonstop plugs for how awesome it was going to be.

Rick perry = the globalization president, period.

Some things are good about it, some are bad.

It's inevitable, so we might as well be arguing about santa vs. easter bunny in steel cage death match!

Manufacturing is the prime mover,...without domestic manufacturing there is no wealth creation,...this off shoring started in earnest during the Reagan Years and the head of Chrysler predicted it.

For Christ's sake...lets get some tariffs.

What's our trade deficit?  Something like 565 billion?

Nations around the world are gradually outsourcing more and more to the US.  How many Japanese and German car plants are there in the US now?  Unemployed Americans, about 1/3 the US population, are being forced to get used to much lower wages.  That will bring foreign jobs to the US.  And none of this is necessarily a good thing.    :-\

You're not going to have domestic manufacturing here in the U.S. , when "Globalization" is really nothing more than "capital pursuing cheap labor".

A consequence of capitalism.  I believe David Harvey said it best "Capitalism never solves its crises problems, it moves them around geographically."

No demand in America? Sell it abroad.  Lower profits?  Ship the manufacturing abroad and so on.

Actually he does and has offered it many times, you were just covering your ears and listening to your messiah instead.

I don't have a messiah but thanks for posting drivel you learned from 333.  Nice to know you can copy others' thoughts.

His plan is not a 'plan', but it is a double down on stupid.

One thing I've have notice about some people, and this is NOT diecide at all, but with some people if you disagree with them even on one tiny issue yet agree with them on 90% of others you are immediately labeled a knee padder.

Get rid of corporate taxes, get rid of minimum wage laws, that would be a start...you offer no solution.

Globalization is inevitable.......

This just means that the US gets to experience how shitty life really is like all the other countries in the world do.  EVERYONE, with the exception of the rich movers and shakers, will be poor.

I'm hearing and reading more and more a bout a world bank, a world economy, a world currency more now than ever.  Seeing how the worse things get, the wealthier some of the world's elite become, maybe this is all planned.  Maybe the top, wealthiest groups are orchestrating the economic collapse in order to get the world population to accept a one world economy, eventually a one world government.
