Look at what Tx Gov Perry's major donors say about immigration
Texas is a pay to play state and Perry's major donors depend upon illegal immigrants for their cheap labor.
Take a minute to read an op-ed by Perry's major donors on immigration printed in the Dallas Morning News here: http://www.box.net/shared/djxcnpy7kq0ukvmbdcua
Here are some tidbits:
But few young Americans want to do hard physical labor, particularly in our climate.
Not only that, but immigrant workers renew and reinvigorate America. They remind us what it's like to give a job your all. We talk about old-fashioned family values; they live them.
These are good people with good values doing work that we need done, reaching for the American Dream and helping make it a reality for all.

Perry will end up being Obama 2 or Bush 3

LOL dude dont lump bush into the same group as obama and perry. At this point I would love to have bush back in the white house. Thats how bad this disaster freaking is, as much as I was happy to see bush leave is how much I wish he was back in charge right now.

I seriously don't see this being any worse than what we had. I don't see it being any better, but it's definitely not any worse.
I seriously can't tell that Bush ever left office.

economy would be in better shape bro, as ive stated time and time again the legislation that obama has passed and continue to pursue is stifling the economy. If bush was in office the majority of stuff wouldnt have been passed especially not the healthcare bill which is the mother of all business screwers right now.
There is no denying that...bush = no health care bill = better economy even if only slightly better...

I dunno man... Maybe, it's hard for me to say things would definitively be better... Hell, we might have started another war or something. You never know.

hahaha, no doubt brosky...but all things given the same except for legislation passed if bush was pres = economy in better shape and more optimistic view of the future economy.
Obama has done nothing but inject uncertainty into businesses for years to come with his legislation.

I will admit, some times you have to pick your battles and choose what to fight for, and Obama hasn't fought for any of the shit I wanted him to.
Ending the wars, bringing the troops home, reducing the stupid war on drugs, letting the patriot act expire.
There's a lot of shit I'm pissed about.
The only thing I'm not upset about is lending GM and Dodge that money.... I think those were good things, but I hate a lot of the other shit.
We were damned if we did and damned if we didn't.

pretty much agree with everything although i do see a reason for the patriot act, Im not saying im for it only a reason for needing it.
Also the auto industry bail out. They should have let the companies restructure their debt with the unions more and not given them so many perks like ownership in GM or whoever it was.

Obama is a puppet dancing for Goldmen Sachs so his legacy can be about the first black president. Nothing more and as a result no lube for the USA

you just now figured that out?
Stepping in the right direction for Civil War #2...
There are tons of young American workers who want to do the hard labor---the fact is, many immigrant laborers don't see themselves as Americans...it's not required....

Some American companies feed on undocumented workers.

Some American companies feed on undocumented workers.
Truth. And who do those companies give donations to? Elected officials.
The point is there is a direct link between illegal workers and the demand our economy has for them. If we have no demand, or better yet, tougher penalties on the companies who hire them decreasing demand, we'll have no reason for many of the undocumented workers to come.

this is why something needs to be done about the money in politics.

Sure, but the politicians get the money, so they certainly won't vote for it's removal.

this is like punishing the drug user instead of addressing the drug pusher....
I agree that the demand causes them to come over but both sides of the problem need to be addressed and trying to grant amnesty...bullshit dream acts etc...arent going to help the matter.

Uh i think you have it the other way around. The drug 'pusher' is the one who provides illegal labor. The drug user, in this case, is the one who does the labor.
