It's well known that a lot of bodybuilders are pot heads. I have actually even heard from some that it is beneficial to smoke because it stimulates your metabolism (munchies) and gets you eating more. Is this a harmful narcotic when it comes to bodybuilding? It's considered a soft drug so I don't see why it would really take a toll on you and shouldn't be an issue when running Tren or anything like that, BUT maybe some of our resident experts can comment...

Seems like Arnie and Zane and Robby all enjoyed some grass.....I never would smoke before training but definitely after the workout....It is amazing how hungry you get on that stuff. Very good for a post workout nap as well!

There's nothing wrong with it just don't let it take over your life. I take a hit of some good weed a few times a week before my workout. I get a really awesome mind muscle connection. I feel like it helps me eat more and I sleep better. Just don't do it all the time.

I totally agree. Usually only for people that are experienced smokers though.On the flip side I think it makes cardio feel like an eternity so I dont do it

Yes good for bodybuilders that, it stores in fat so when you are really low BF it goes quicker out of your system than your average lardass.

Heavy users (like what I used to be) have been shown to have increased estrogen levels ... All I know is that once I stopped smoking pot I must of grew like my first cycle of creatine overnight. Also when you smoke you dont go into REM sleep...and REM sleep causes the release of certain hormones that make you get bigger...thats why BBs take GHB...it puts you in REM sleep instantly instead of the needed 3-4 hrs it normally would take. I hate to sound like tbombz with all the scientific mumbo jumbo but thats what some big ass dude told me...incidentally he loved his G. hahahaha

Good info. Always wanted to try ghb but I have a really addictive personality. Once I find something I like I get this weird urge to stock pile as much as I can of it.

Ive never tried it Im too scared, but ppl who when they go out clubbing have said that its better than the best ecstacy and best coke... but if you take too much then you 'g-out' basically past the fuck out and cant get awake until you sleep it off (8 -10 hrs later)

I refuse to workout if I don't smoke before. Once you experience the mind muscle connection there's nothing comparable.
Martinez and most of the other pros recognize this too. You only get burnt out if you smoke too much or something that is indica dominent. Smoke the stuff I grow and you won't feel tired.
I've posted pics and I don't have estrogen problems or a bad physique either. I've smoked weed every workout for the last 5 years. On the rare occasion I didn't, my workouts weren't three same. I lift hard, heavy, good form and no grunting. I try making it look effortless and everyone asks how I lift so well when I'm so baked lol

I understand the implications of smoking but it's not really going to do much in the long run. You do realize there are seniors who've smoked their entire lives without any sort of health challenge, right?

Only bad thing is it lowers your bodys test level. I wouldnt smoke it unless its just a tiny bit before bed if at all.

Yeah, unfortunately any recreational drug circle is going to have a disproportionate amount of fucking dildos to normal, non-retarded folk.
Anything and everything about PCT is miserable too. Having a toke when you're feeling blue is nice. But you don't want to smoke a ton when your feelings are spiraling south and you're having trouble feeling depressed. It can amplify those feelings and bring incredible malaise, depression and exhaustion. Everything in moderation, especially when life is throwing curve balls your way.
