Title: what's with all the "british" people on CNN and MSNBC?

what' with all the commentators, interviewers, correspondents, etcetera all of british descent all over the place on MSNBC and CNN? you can't turn on the tv anytime of the day without seeing and hearing some british person commentating and their opinions on our country's state of affairs, acting like THEY are u.s. citizens..

i mean besides martin bashier ( hack) and that douchebag (pierce morgan... how a editor of a sleazy gossip style newspaper and a "judge of talent" on a u.s. tv talent show... gets to have his own CNN show and is considered such a high standard journalist enough to be next to wolf blitzer and interview the iranian president the other day i'll never know!) you have all these british people on various CNN and MSNBC SHOWS?

why is that... i mean does the BBC have american journalists with their own shows over there and appearing on every news program commentating or giving their opinions on the state of affairs in england?

trust me.. i'm sure there are tons of qualified american journalists who need a job and could do the job... so what gives? do the powers that be.. think that someone with a british accent automatically makes them 'prestigious and intelligent and what not" thus viewers will listen and watch them?..

my father was the first one who made mention of this to me... and so i watch these networks for a couple of days and saw that he was right....

I watch little or no TV other than Yankees and football.  I will watch the shows on discovery like top shot, army of one, survivng the cut, etc, but the rest is awful.

I have noticed this too.  Don't forget Stuart Varney on Fox Business/Fox News as well.  It is getting ridiculous.  I guess it is the old empire trying to re-infiltrate this country.  Makes me sick.
