Arnold was a fan and thus I'm a fan too!

Love that machine!

I wish my gym had one.  They really work the lats directly while taking the arms out of it.

I prefer it with a rope attached to a pulley

Only 2 bally gyms by my area have them, one is a machine stack weight which feels decent, the other is a hammer strength that feels like total shit

Thanks for the advice people!

Any tips on hitting the inner back hard?  My lats are wide, but I lack anything in the middle.   :-\

i thought pull overs expand the rib cage.  maybe that's why jay culter's and yates' trucks were so boxy.  i just walk past the machine.

Imagine trying to break an egg with your shoulder blades when you row.

Smart or dumb, even with a history full of injuries and tears Branch does it his way.

X2 = the best Nautilus machine ever made. Pre-exhaust the lats by doing the pullover which has no bicep involvement then do pulldowns works very well.

Since reading the Arnold Encyclopedia and watching those Dorian videos. I use the pull over machine every back workout. It's my favorite machine hands down.

I've used that very machine. Not the best pullover as you can't adjust the seat, but still very good.

I love how people needed to bring in Phil to do a seminar to tell them to use a medium grip and to slightly pause at the top  :-\ :-\

I drive 25 miles each way to use one in Mountain View Golds. Just the most awesome machine ever, old school plate loaded and NOTHING-NOTHING!!! hits  my lats the way it does.

The BEST back routine I have put together-

Machine pullovers
Reverse grip pulldowns
Reverse grip barbell rows
Seated low handle hammer rows
Behind the neck pulldowns
Dumbell pullovers
Rack deads

Long workout but my back is EASILY my best bodypart. I have always done high intensity/high volume on back and I have always gained. If you critique my routine, there is little overlap- it is very well thought out, and I developed it over many many years of training. Give it a shot...

The pullover is the best exercise to develop the back fast. The barbell row gives you more thickness to your back, but it takes much longer to show results because it takes time for you to learn how to balance the weight. I don't know of any serious bodybuilder who doesen't do some form of pulldown in his back training.
