PPP: Obama Still Leads All Republicans In NC
Public Policy Polling (D) out with a new poll of North Carolina, and it continues a trend in PPP’s surveys of the state that has held since summer: President Obama’s approval rating is around ten points underwater, yet he maintains small leads over his major GOP challengers.
Obama’s approval in the poll is split 44 – 53, but he leads former Mass. Gov. Mitt Romney 46 – 45 and Texas Gov. Rick Perry 48 – 44. While Obama has had issues with his approval rating, the Republican candidates have far worse problems on the favorability side. Romney’s favorables are split 32 – 49, and Perry is way down — 56 percent of general election voters seeing him in a negative light versus 24 percent who have a positive view.
Businessman Herman Cain, who just made a big splash by actually leading a GOP field trial heat in the state, wasn’t tested against Obama, as his surge was unexpected.

Same here. What's the margin of error? Unless it's zero, he's tied with Romney and likely Perry.

yes, tied within the margin of error. The getbigger statement was "obama is losing in all 8 swing states". Untrue.

I`m in NC and I can tell you that Obama will not have a hard time winning at all.

He said he was resigning or not running in exchange for a pardon.

If he's tied, then doesn't lead all Republicans in NC, as the story/thread title says.
