high reps with deceant weight actually gives the "look" to your legs... some say it grows your legs better than low reps but I think it's only when you use deceant weight... powerlifters do very low reps, but they use alot of speed and they go ass to the grass and knees through the roof deep every time...

x2, and seriously, some 25 reps of squats or leg press is hard enough, no need to make it stupid.

do three or four sets of 25 reps some times, it will help.

I do all my leg work in the 15-25 rep range, because I'm old and afraid of destroying my knees, but 100 reps is an entire session, not a set...

Lee Priest did sets of hundreds and hundreds of reps on leg press   8)

High reps low reps it's all good as long as you do your reps.
