He'd still press a lot. In Powerlifting, the drug use adds about 30%, give or take, across the 3 lift total. It's hard to figure how much they add to an individual lift, but it's probably in the 10-15 % range.

IMO/experience around 20% once you've plateau'd as a natural. Some lifts really blow up but strangely it's usually the ones you sucked at naturally. Depends on BW gain too of course. The 15-20% incrase thrown around is usually meant in the same weight class, obviously someone who gains 80lbs on steroids/gh/slin will gain a ton of strength.

Nearly twice as strong as me.  :-\

Then again I weigh 160lb tops and have been lifting since January. Give me another year or two...

i agree anabolics give maybe a 20% gain in each lift, its the gear,i.e. benchshirts, squatsuits etc. that have caused the world records to increase so much.

This is laughable. C'mon, man. You CANNOT be serious. Ten to 15 percent?!

Saying what you do is as bad as those twits who claim drugs are a "finishing touch" in bodybuilding.

Gotta hand it to the guy for getting the weight up by himself. Most dudes pressing this kind of weight on video have the dumbbells handed them by their fanclub bros.

Short term, yes, I stand by what I wrote.  If you look at a few of late 70's meets where they really tested the guys, and they had to clean out months in advance, 3 lift totals dropped by close to 30%. I ran the numbers a few years ago for reported top drug free lifters and the non-tested lifters(same weight class) were still close to about 30% stronger than the supposedly clean lifters. Now it gets harder to tell how much strength is gained on individual lifts through steriod use, for instance in those few 70's meets I mentioned, bench usually dropped by a decent amount, squats too, but deadlifts were still closer to drugged numbers.

I'm going to stand by my close to 30% higher 3 lift total figure, but allow some lee way on the individual lift figures because that would take a lot more work to figure than I'm willing to give it.

gh use would help with tendon, ligament and bone strength.but the guy is just made to be strong. some people have genetics for strength. yes without drugs he still would be strong. if learned how to use equipment properly he would be one of the strongest equipped plifters right now.

i agree a 600lb bench presser will toy with 400 clean  in my younger days when i was in the joint many chunky guys could bench deep into the 400s

guy does NOT look healthy.  He hangs around those powerlifters at supertraining who are known for their "doses"
