Title: Feeling sleepy when drinking coffee?
Post by: Meso_z on October 15, 2011, 09:02:47 AM
I have this thing lately..also when I used ephedrine/bronkaid back when I did prep, I was feeling sleepy as well.

VanBilderass, said he felt this way to. One of the best posters.

Any reason behind this?

Sure: caffein causes adrenaline release, adrenaline raises bloodsugar, and when the bloodsugar bounces back it goes below the original point in some people. Makes you sleepy and tired.

not sure why caffiene does that sometimes. its definitely not the blood sugar thing unless maybe your a diabetic or youve got a severe case of metabolic syndrome.

the sugar has nothing to do with it.

people who respond with sleepiness to caffeine usually respond the same way to other stimulants.

kids who have ADD respond exactly the same.

its called paradoxical nervous system condition.

I havnt had coffee in years. Never felt better. I used to drink a cup then feel sleepy then have to drink another one. All day was a yo-yo. I think this is pretty common as you never see someone just drinking one coffee during the day. I sleep so much better now too.

My guess is that it speeds up your heart rate, hence you feel like you've just walked up too many flights of stairs.

out of everything on the planet that I have tried. The only thing that will keep me up no matter what is yohimbe. That shit is deadly.

Anything else...if i'm tired..I"m going to yawn and have no problem sleeping right after I take it or drink it (caffeine)

Yohimbe...entirely different result. Shit makes me feel as if i'm about to die. Zero sleep. Complete insomnia.

"Yohimbe"

It's in the Redline drink....

(Not a nice story that follows) ~ I actually had to stop selling it in my gym. Kids were stopping by on their way to school to buy them with their lunch money. The local LEO's told me I had to post an "18 year old age limit" on sales. I've seen a few people get effed up by guzzling the whole thing down before. I would usually warn them to take a few sips first and see how they tolerate it. I've also known others who can pound them one after the other....

Great website, unbelievable how stupid these people are, drinking something without checking the label, it's their own fucking fault.

Agreed.

Just as stupid as taking a pill without knowing what it is. People do it all the time. Amazingly ignorant.
