Bush, handled the 911 shite well. I luv all the little dirt bags bitching about the civil rights abuse from the new powers/laws he invoked - but the same little dirt bags were crying on the day of 9/11 and shortly after ::)
Bush did stuff end of.
-
Clinton!
But I think W would be a fun person to go out and party with!

Bush will probably go down as the worst president in the history of the US with Carter (Gerald Ford was a dimwit too). Obama will be remembered as the guy who couldn't handle a crisis nobody did handle (Germany would be maybe the only exception). Clinton was good.
-
George W. and Clinton were both pretty solid leaders
George W. was a likeable guy and a no nonsense type of leader.....Clinton was able to handle the economy and kept us in good financial standing.
Nobama is absolutely the worst prez.....All he has done is blame the previous administration for all of his blunders. He has talked a good game....but has shown very little action.
All talk....no walk.

This is not even close to being true.....
Worst President Ever = Obama, recently surpassing Jimmy Carter.
Bush doesn't even rank in the bottom five.

Oh, and shit all over our Constitutional Rights along the way...
Bullshit.....
When goatfuckers highjack planes and fly them into buildings on U.S. soil, and radical Islam says it will eradicate the western world.....you have a "war" on your hands whether a bunch of crybaby Libfags will admit it or not.
And I don't know ANY American that wasn't ready to give up some of their rights/freedoms on 9/12/01 to stop another terrorist attack on the U.S. Bush did that - there was no other terrorist attack on the U.S. during his Presidency.
The incompetent moron currently in the White House has done more to harm the U.S. on so many fronts in the last 3 years he has gone over and above the stupidity that Jimmy Carter displayed. Denying that is nothing more than blind party partisanship, or epic stupidity.

You're ignoring the fact that Bush was given intelliengence briefings prior to 9/11 strongly indicating that Al-Qaeda was intenting to attack a major US city. Bush said after reading the final report in summer '01 "Don't bother me with this again". That was quoted from one of his former national security advisors for the 9/11 Commission.
Also, The Clinton Administration left a comprehensive anti-terrorism plan for the Bush Administration because there were also strong threats of a terrorist attack in 2000. Condi Rice admitted that those plans were pushed aside when the Bush Adminastration took over. Talk about dropping the ball.
-
I will never forget Bush reading to those kids while we were being attacked. Stupid #######

:P
So President Clinton getting a blowjob was detrimental to the welfare of the country?
The Clinton era was the strongest the US had ever been.
8 years of peace and prosperity.
America was an unstoppable Juggernaut in the 90's.

i am a bit inclined to put bush ahead of clinton strictly because bush stuck to his guns for the most part, did what he believed in, and didnt bow down to the polls. clinton, while i strongly prefer his ideology to bush, was a politician first and foremost.
obama is by far better than both of them, an intelligent pragmatist with full knowledge of the weight of his actions, doing his best to seek common ground with republicans wherever possible, even when its extremely politically risky/unpopular among his base. id prefer if he was still the guy in the campaign, but the heavy responsibility of the office has made him into a more cautious and moderate individual.. he could have carried his momentum into the presidency and hammered away at the big issues that got him elected.. universal healthcare.. gay marriage.. sweeping economic reforms.. etc.. and eventually gotten enough public support that either the republicans in office would have to make consessions or they would be voted out and replaced with people who would back the president.. but alas he did not do so.. but now im just ranting...

Sorry to break it to ya, but he actually bungled before and after 9/11 -ie. he failed to connect the dots with his intelligence reports indicating an imminent Al-quada attack, and then after he politicized his CIA intel reports to support his war.

'Got stuff done!?' Oh brother. That's not even a soundbite. That's 333386 cliche nonsense.
Obama's problem is the shitty economy and his ineffective leadership.

A one-word reply is 'weak.' Best of luck with your middle-school studies.

for one the economy is in the shitter and gettin worse, they are saying we are heading back into a recession
the economy was tanking before he came into office, recession wasnt caused by obama. and while tarp and stimulus didnt get us out of the recession they sure as hell prevented it from getting worse.
anything else?
-
Obama's problem is the shitty economy and his ineffective leadership.
he isnt a miracle worker chimps.. no one is.. doing the best he can with what hes got to work with.. this country needs intelligent people like you to stand up for whats right instead of trying to be likeable by hating on everyone instead of just those that deserve it
-

Well, you could argue that Obama's stimulus package wasn't aggressive enough, and wasn't TARP a Bush initiative?
-

Nope. Sorry. Obama is a smart guy, a policy guy, and he likes consensus, but he doesn't have the 'time' of a good economy behind him like Clinton. It's really put his lack of leadership in the White House in bas relief, particularly with people like Larry Summers. He's just so lucky that the current crop of GOP opponents are incompetent. ;D
-
Well, you could argue that Obama's stimulus package wasn't aggressive enough, and wasn't TARP a Bush initiative?
obama couldnt pass an aggressive stimulus in the current political climate.. the republicans have a very strong hold on the national discussion right now and its all about spending and the debt.. the kind of stimulus needed would be the size of TARP or bigger.. nobody is willing to spend that kind of money right now.. TARP was a bush initiative but people , the republican presidential candidates in particular, are bringin up TARP as an argument against obama.. calling it a failure, that the government shouldnt have interfered with the workings of the market, that it was a trillion dollars soent that did no good.. etc .. and doing nothing to make it clear that it wasnt obama's plan and even if it was TARP, while it didnt get us back to the eocnomy we had in 2005, it did keep us from having a much much MUCH worse situation than we have now.. regardless of whether or not we should have bailed out those companies/banks..
the point being.. the economy isnt obama's fault.. and if TARP and the stimulus hadnt been passed the economy would be in a much worse place than it is now.. while maybe we could have boosted the economy to a better place than it is now... to do so would have required a far left socialist stimulus package spending trillions.. or a far right deregulation of industry allowing massive pollution, breaches to workers rights, excessive tax breaks for corporations, etc... neither of those options would have gained enough support to pass..

again with the lack of leadership. no. he could have tried to use the bully pulpit and pushed hard for his ideology but it would have taken years, maybe two full terms before he gained enough public support to actually get anything done.. what he has done is work with what he has and made significant progress on many different issues in the face of very tough political opposition... get behind the guy.. we need intelligent people to voice support..... not be "hip" anti-establishment douchebags.. but your right about this field of republicans.. their debates are pathetic ..
