I havent seen something hit the wall so hard since Runningmom.
Miss me baby? :D
-
Pretty sick actually! Have they done this with anything exotic?
-
I want to hop inside that and be the first man to surive a crash of 400 g forces. It's no biggie.
-
That's nuts. I've seen some nasty accident photos before. Nobody would survive that - except for the honey badger.
-
In before suckmanmuscle says he's crashed his personal space shuttle into the earth at 50,000 G's and survived.
-
You can survive that in a Nascar car.

::) Maybe suckmymuscle and his gorillas could.
Who was that fucker who barely scratched a wall and broke his neck in Nascar? I forgot his name. They got the neck safety gear for the drivers after that.

This is where I need that pic of Heath Ledger as the joker GIF that says "Cant tell if serious."
Dale Earnhardt....

Fuck that shit. There are so many variables outside your control when you drive - namely, what the fuck the other clowns on the road are doing or not doing. It always causes me a little concern if I stop to think about it. The shit you see - here in Germany every fucker thinks they have a right to go as fast as they possibly can, and overtaking is like a new extreme sport. I've seen people texting and overtaking at speeds that make me feel like I'm not moving at all. It just takes a small lapse and someone coming at you with equal speed.
I live in the country and there are still so many speed related deaths here - I'm getting grey hair too early worrying about the driving.

In before Suckmanmuscle claims he crashed an asteroid into earth and didn't have a scratch....

Ryan Dunn knows first hand about this test...knew.

No, they would have gotten hate mail and needed bodyguards 24/7. Take a look at that crash---the front end including the engine is in the rear seat. Imagine if that was a Ferrari or Lambo.
-
so what car would be able to take that and walk away from?

so what car would be able to take that and walk away from?
That freaking South African Military SUV/vehicle that was on Top Gear...the one that they put bomb under and it still was working.
-
hahah yes!
but how about something more conventional? Id love to see them do this for all cars.

Two Hyundais/Kias
I wonder what would happen if we engineered cars to withstand the 120mph crashes? Imagine the structural engineering, and imagine what the cars would look like---because it would dictate what the designers/stylists have to work with.

Dude across the street from me just bought Maybach. I only recently heard of one (saw Jeter with him on TMZ) niiiiice car!

we would be in a whole new era. ... even if they did build vehicles it would probably be like minority report where we just jump in a go for a ride. they'd be so far advanced. very cool stuff
you opened up a good can of worms

I seen this a long time ago.
An excerpt from the 1958 Disneyland TV Show episode entitled Magic Highway USA. In this last part of the show, an exploration into possible future Transportation technologies is made. It's hard to believe how little we've accomplished on this front since 1958, and how limited the scope for imagining such future technologies has become. Witness an artifact from a time where the future was greeted with optimism. Note the striking animation style here, achieved with fairly limited animation and spectacular layouts.
its very funny.
long version. save it in your bookmarks for rainy day
