What's the difference between a Motorcycle and a girlfriend?
You can ride a motorcycle any time of the month.

why would you say that TA? He died racing, not stunting in the streets of NYC or something.
-
Another person who decided to be involved in a reckless sport and dies. No sympathy here.

Motorcycles are fine if you drive them at 35 MPH without anyone on the road or if you just want to look at them. Some of them are very pretty, (The old Indian motorcycles) but nothing good ever comes from riding them long term in traffic and at speeds faster than 35 MPH.

lots of potential darwin award winners this year.

It's the same with girlfriends... ::)

i have to agree with adonis.. i have two good friends that had horrible wrecks and have never been the same.. if you own a bike long enough (especially the crotch rockets) you will have a accident.. its not a question of if but when..

I tend to agree - it's certainly more dangerous than driving a car, because the majority of drivers on the road don't pay any attention and you are, for all intents and purposes, invisible. It's also true that, once you're on the bike, it can be hard to control the urge to do stupid things ("I can crank it up to 120mph, no problem.") even when you're an otherwise mature and sensible person and not a stupid 18-28 year old.
But they are awesome fun and a totally different experience than driving a car.

Right. When you ride bikes you belong in one of two clubs: The club of those who've fallen and/or the club of those who will. It's a sad fact.

Was he unconscious? I mean before the other bike hit him?

Not sure but heard he died on the spot. Helmet flew off...so that had to do some serious damage like maybe a broken neck or something. :(

I'm just asking because he is leaning to the side nearly to the ground its like he fainted and only hangs on.
Weird.

Weird.
He slipped but instead of him sliding out of the track his front tyre took a solid grip of the road and pushed the whole bike across.. That made the collision inevitable for Colin and Valentino..
Colin crashed into Marco's back while Valentino's crashed into his neck and head, which broke his helmet in the process.. Marco was immediately knocked unconscious and as soon as the paramedics attended to him, he went into cardiac arrest.. they tried to resuscitate him for 45 mins but Marco succumbed to his injuries..
You can see Valentino was absolutely devastated because he knew how bad Marco was hit.. they were best of friends..
RIP to Marco and I hope Colin and Valentino could pull it through..

I almost hit a deer last night. Someone could of started a thread "Jason getbig member dies on CBR954." Could of been epic! ;) But thankfully I missed it.
-
I was there and still in KL... Went specifially to see him podium again.
Marco brought style and attitude to MotoGP and will be sorely missed.
Died doing what he loved. Much respect...
