Title: Down syndrome Bodybuilders?
Post by: Borracho on October 26, 2011, 01:09:50 PM: Just wondering if any exist and how their bodies would respond to asteroids. I know most are pretty athletic and are lovers of the wwe so maybe this is a possibility. Have any of you ever encountered any?

I volunteered as a Big Brother to a great guy who has down syndrome and his two obsessions were, yes, the WWE and Star Trek (particularly Captain Kirk/William Shatner.) My bud wasn't athletic tho - he loved to sit around and watch tv and throw back beers.

blind friend of mine plays piano and mixes music.. there is nothing missing in his ability to appreciatte the music.

I'm sure there are many others that make life worth living. But to live for a hobby for which you literally lack the sense (eye sight) to truly appreciatte makes little sense.

He has the right to enjoy what he likes though, i just don't understand it.
