Yes, that's possibly why Arnold cheated in the first place. They probably should have split a long time ago, instead of dragging it out over all these years.

Some of us here have been through this before. There is always a chance, but she will NEVER forget what he did and it will take FOREVER for her to ever trust him again... which will actually be the focus on any re-uinification.
