I think it's empowering. People can make great gains naturally. It's the difference between those who stay consistant and doing those extra 2 reps even you feel like dying, and those people who doesn't want to get a good night sleep and think about the next set.
it's only few percent difference in gaining, but enough to notice a great difference.

Most people don't have that drive all the time. If a natural trainer trains hard, but doens't go above that. He looks nice. If a natural trainer trains really hard and allways pushes beyond the pain barrier, he will look couple of percent sharper and people will notice that difference, allthough not huge difference in relation to the hard work ethic, but still.
That's why most people don't care to sustain the mentality because a natural trainer can only have that small percentage in difference.
i lost my drive this summer when I got in the car accident but I'm "slowly" getting it back, still training hard though.

a narcissist is just a beautiful person, everyone who is treated like they are beautiful become narcissists, if they are conscious of social politics and how to get along, they will hide it well and they will be called charming or nice, but they are still narcissists they simply are more socially adept and are better at avoiding negative judgment
