So everyone in my gym is taking this Gasparis whey protein, and its very overpriced. After taking a quick look at the nutritional facts table I see a lot of carbs and fats. The composition of this supp looks exactly like a whey concentrate, not whey isolate. In that case, thats overpriced as fuck.
Very inteligent of Gaspari, they put "ISO" on the label of the product and price it a little bellow the other Iso whey competitors, so when you buy Intrapro you feel like you are making a good deal. But you are actually paying 50% more for an actual whey concentrate product.
Or am I missing something?
-
You are missing that it doesn't matter a shit what kind of protein powder you take.....unless you want to pay for Gaspari's 3th holiday house of course ;D

Every time i read these words, i stay away.

lol at "proprietary blend", 1% Iso and 99% concentrate. Put the word "ISO" on the label and then charge bellow real ISO whey and above whey concentrate. Presto you will sell a lot of whey concentrate with huge margins. And people will think they are making a great deal because they think they are buying ISO so "cheap". And it works like a charm because all these suckers never bother to read the numbers on the back of the stuff, I mean, its right there for everyone to see, lol.

I don`t know how true this is ,but I read an article that stated a lot of whey protein powder, regardless of price and hype is all the same stuff and sold to different companies who label it as their own, and hype it up the way they want to.
The more hype, the more money you pay.
So,according to the article,Wal-Marts whey may be the same shit as Isopro or some other brand, but Isopro will cost twice as much.
Just get your protein in and don`t sweat the minutia. 8)

Was Gaspari really banging Jenna Jameson?

5 raw eggs mixed in ice cream and milk make for a good protein shake.

Ive read studies that seemed credible showing that the best combo was both fast and slow acting proteins (makes sense, its the same for steroids). Your protein shake only have slow acting protein, no?

X 2
-
you can buy a 5 pound jug of pure isolate at costco for $39.95
i cant think of a protein source that is per serving (35grams) any cheaper.

Yeah the studies do say that but gh15 says drink raw eggs as protein shakes. So that's what I do. I don't think it really matters much as long get some kind of liquified protein in you.

This is 100% true for Europe, there are just 2 or 3 manufacturers of protein powder in Europe, one in the UK, one in the Netherlands and maybe another one.
ALL brands are mixed there, the difference is only the flavor.

Exactly, if a prop blend lists soy or milk protein, you know what you get.
I bought a lot of pure whey isolate here in Japan for a good price last year, have to say that i like it much more than whey, much easier on the stomach, but i would never buy anything with a prop blend.
100% pure whey isolate, good to go.

Really thats the only reason I drink protein powder, the taste, beats tuna for a change and its quick and easy like my mum :D - , other than that It is all the same stuff.

A big protein shake beats tuna straight from the can all the way, and seriously i don't even think the "quality" of the protein will make much difference if your overall nutrition is spot on.
