Just another Big Government politician with Big Government solutions posing as a limited government conservative.
His argument is: previous government intervention sometimes makes everyone pay for someone else's health care (when they don't pay for emergency care)... so instead of repealing that previous government intervention, why don't we unconstitutionally FORCE everyone to purchase health insurance (same as Obamacare) while giving out vouchers on a "sliding scale" (translation: imposing higher implicit marginal tax rates (http://mises.org/daily/3822)).
I bet you Obama would love to go up against Mitt Romney or Newt Gingrich, since they wouldn't be able to attack Obamacare without exposing themselves as hypocrites and sleazy politicians. No wonder the media is trying to make these two into the front-runners while ignoring the only man in the Republican field with real solutions - Ron Paul.
