Title: The Worlds Strongest Child (What Kind of Dad lets this happen)
Post by: Big N on November 22, 2011, 09:30:58 PM: Is he waiting for the poor kid, and god forbid, to get injured before he stops? He almost pulled his back during the "world record" attempt. There is a difference between encouraging your kid to be physically fit and whatever the hell this is. The father does seem to have misguided priorities, and quite frankly he's living vicariously through his kid.

Post by: 20inch calves on November 23, 2011, 01:19:39 AM: yeah he is taking it to far. i have actually been in powerlifting meets which allow kids to lift. but it is only for fun. they even had wood plates ;D for the girls. all the kids got a trophy. it was all for fun..this is pushing it. i guarantee the kid will hate lifting when he gets older

Exactly, there's a fine line between all for fun and pushing the kid to lift more and more and more...
