He's definitely on point, but his issue is his waist. It's so damn wide, he looks like a refrigerator. If he can add a lot of mass to his legs (which he already has, but he still needs more), then that will add to the illusion that his waist is smaller. He'd look a lot better if he can do this. He can get as shredded as he physically can, but his waist is still wide. Not a hater, just saying...

Looks like we will agree to disagree lol. IMO he still looks too blocky. Don't get me wrong, he has improved a LOT in the last few years. I'm not an ifbb judge, so my opinion doesn't matter, but he definitely needs more quad sweep and overall leg mass to off-set the look of his waist. I do agree that it looks the worst in the abdominal thigh pose.

He is actualy more shredded than Heath onstage but he lacks striations on the upper body and often holds water in the low back but thats all.

I don't recall anyone saying that. He WASN'T shredded in 2008 and not as shredded in 2011. Hence, he lost both times to D. Jackson and Heath, respectively.

Grainy hard has nothing to do with having genetics for BBing, small waist wide shoulders blah blah blah I could go on but they are of many guys who think drugs are the answer to changing DNA and achieving bodybuilding genetics. Not knocking their hard work, but lots of guys look like grainy dogshit who give it their all.

pics either. He's big and full but his back lacks detail.
Glutes are not very striated. Pecs and shoulders have very little
striations and his intercostals should be more pronounced.
Not hating because I like Jay's persona, just calling it like it seems.

Exactly onstage he looks NOTHING like this, and if you take into account all the air/paint/brushing/shoping thats Blanantly obvious in those shots you can see why he doesnt look like THAT onstage
