Title: the last couple of months I lost 2.5kg bw despite efforts to increase bw
Post by: purenaturalstrength on December 07, 2011, 12:30:27 AM
Just woke up, weighed myself after urinartion, scale said 84kg (height 182cm)

feels depressing, all that cooking and bringing all those boxes of food to work and all that stuffing, and I actually lost weight

what the hell

you'd think I'd at least gain some bloat and or fat and get to enjoy the illusion of muscle gain  :-\

maybe go by pictures because the mirror is a bizarre thing, look totally different depending on how I feel about myself

Pictures are even better as long as the lighting and perspective are the same.

Yup...weekly progress shots help me out big time. If I look fatter, I change up. If I look bigger and leaner, I stay the course for another week.

Creatine Monohydrate should give you some water bloat if that's what you're looking for.

You don't need to eat that much bro.

Plus ur natural. If you've been training a few years, forget about gaining much if anything.

lol

I keep thinking I need to achieve something very impressive in terms of strength first tho regardless of that other thing we talked about

I can't even bench 315, and Stuart McRobert says any smuck can do it

just like he said any smuck can achieve 405squat and 495deadlift naturally, I pulled off these two so I also want the bench press achievement

some people are poor at 1 rep maxes, for whatever reason. i am a very very bad bencher because of bone structure and lingering shoulder issues. i don't really care though since i only lift for aesthetical reasons but some people will just have shit numbers in certain lifts while other people are born to deadlift or bench

A 315 bench for a natural is damn impressive. The best I ever did was 225 for a triple while weighing all of a buck 50 or so lol

I did bench that much naturally but deadlifted and squated way more. Who cares what Stuart McRobert says. End of the day strength is nice but isn't equal to how much muscle you have.

If you care more about pushing heavy weight why don't you just concentrate on power lifting?

x2! True, very deceiving! Its like it reflects your mental state.

But its more telling than a scale when measuring progress

when I look at those guys I always think "god the fat pad in front of their pubic bone must be thick as a brick..."

that must take at least an inch and a half off your dick
