Title: carnivores - whats your favourite meats ?

wild boar (sadly, a rarity), steak, chicken (legs and wings), goat, lamb (can be a bit hit or miss with me), rabbit and pork, especially bacon.

pretty bog standard. not had much in the way of exotic or even game. had pheasant once  :-\

i notice my local lidl sells all kinds of exotic meats. moose, quails, pigeon, goat amongst other stuff

edit: i've never even had venison  :'(

1 1/2 in thick hickory smoked T-bone steaks, when I have a cow slaughtered I do a few like that. A steak like that in a restaraunt - if you could find one - would cost $150.00

Regular ribeye steak basted with Jack Daniels BBq sauce, a real rarilty for me as I stay away from sugars.  Cheat day!!!! :o

Probably a good old slab of Aberdeen Angus.
I do love a nice bit of venison though.


Pig is bottom of the barrell for me. Wild boar is good, but your common pig meat is just salty, unappealing shite.

Pretty boring but steak is hard to beat, same with prime rib.

I've been to a lot of steak houses but honestly The Keg's prime rib is pretty fucking deadly. I've had better steaks elsewhere, but I absolutely love their prime rib. Holy fuck.
