Title: MW3/Call Of Duty - PS3 - as a stress reliever
Post by: Big N on December 08, 2011, 07:26:41 PM
Even as an adult I still play MW3/Call Of Duty as a stress reliever or whatever you want to call. But I just broke a damn controller because assholes keep camping like little girls, damn noobs ::)

LMAO. I hear ya man. I almost crushed my controller in my hands before. The new MW3 has the most campers i've seen from release day out of them all. And I hate that board with the broken down bridge...it's money you will get shot in the back 80% of the time you get killed on that board.

Game is insane. I took a week off that shit.

I'm up to level 67, not too far away from prestige I. It does get addicting, and yeah I need to take....a few days off!  8)

Do they have this game for the Atari 2600?

They need more maps.  Some games I can't even take a few steps without getting shot so that's when I kind of crouch down and scope shit out before I move.  If I happen to kill someone while crouched I get called Camper, noob, etc...lol.  Game is cool but they need more maps and having a sniper is useless really.  The maps are not big enough to ever use a sniper effectively.

"Camping" is part and parcel of the game. You need a combination of both running around like a headless chicken and strategic logistics.

Agree, they do need more maps. Once you reach Prestige I, then you'll feel as if you could play the same 4-5 maps backwards that you've been playing for 80 levels already!

Camping is part of the game in fact over abusing the camping and literally not moving and sitting there with your ACR weapon until somebody or anybody storms by you to get a kill is definitely annoying camping. On the other hand like Outby43, if you're sniping and posted up somewhere to camp that's fine. But you have these pricks that'll literally sit with a machine gun or a pistol in the corner and not move at all!

I agree. camping holding a choke point or catching a team flushing is fine....it's the camper that literally posts up the entire game in one location and never moves trying to score a high K/D. As soon as somebody on the team finds a camper we pool all resources to make life miserable for them by destroying that K/D for the match. That is why I love being on teams that make it their sole mission to ruin that campers evening by killing his K/D ratio.  ;D

Won't touch MW3, I have lost to many controllers on the last one. The only two games I will need for the next year is Skyrim and Battlefield 3. All that game does is create stress not relieve it.

Infact pretty much all games could create stress. But I don't see why MW3 would cause more stress than BF3? They're pretty much alike. And if so BF3 might be a bit more complicated because dude trying to fly the damn plane or especially the helicopter is a pain in the ass!

I find I don't get frustrated with BF3. MW3 to me is like arena paintball. You have to have lightning reflexes to kill anyone. Don't get me wrong i enjoyed MW2 and Black Ops and i was decent at both, i just can't justify spending another $60 until Call of Duty brings something new to the table. My 2cents.

I love the campaigns for any of the Call of Duty games, but haaaate the multiplayer..... Halo multiplayer is so much better!

True, I hear ya. Personally I haven't had a chance to play BF3 yet, but would you say the maps are bigger or better and well balanced per say than MW3 does.

The maps for BF are huge! I really enjoy the vehicles and all f the different things you can do in the game. I haven't played MW3, but after reading reviews they all say it's MW 2.5? I play on a headset ( the wife doesn't like to hear bombs going off all night) and the sound on BF is incredible!

I guess i'm the opposite of what you've tried so far. And I do agree that MW3 is more like arena paintball. Take two steps and you already see the enemy, and it gets too frustration. Seems like MW3 is all about whoever pull the trigger faster. Overall it's not too much different than MW2 but sick graphic and a few good things here and there. But I definitely have to give BF3 a chance before I destroy more controllers during MW3  ;D
