Was deadlifting the other day. 3 x 5's and apparently I was lowering the weight faster than usual and clanked the floor or I dropped one, really don't know. But about 5 minutes later, felt like I broke a tooth ( I didn't) had jaw/tooth pain for several days.
any similar experiences? Ive seen some dudes with mouthpiece, never gave it much thought. DL again tomorrow, might give them a go.

Yeah mouthpeices seem to be the thing today. I can sure see why though if nothing else the grinding of the teeth when lifting heavy. I never wore one though they gag the hell out of me. When I played football in high school I had to wait till the last second to put my mouthpeice in so I wouldn't think about it! good thing I was on defence LOL.
But i see nothing wrong with using one.

yeah,i got a lot of guys at my gym using them for that same reason.
